Buying used can save a lot of money if you check the right things.
What to check - IMEI: dial \*#06# and make sure it matches the box and bill. - Account lock: the phone must not be signed in to someone else's Google or Apple account. - Battery: on iPhone see Settings → Battery → Battery Health. On Android, check how quickly it drains. - Screen and cameras: look for dead pixels, test every camera and the flash. - Ports and buttons: charge it, test the speaker, microphone and every button. - Seller: buy from a seller who gives a bill and a written warranty.
